The Paralictor Aboliet Rast is a signifer member of the Hellknight Order of the Nail, stationed in Citadel Vraid outside the Varisian city-state of Korvosa. There he works in the Hellfast, the secretive, underground complex where the order's more specialized rituals are conducted, and is assisted by an erinys devil who also serves as the chapel guardian. In addition, he leads the other Hellknights in services, where he rails against the dangers of diabolic possession.
