The Hand of the Inheritor appeared as a massive golden angel, constantly surrounded by a halo of spinning blades. He was the herald of the warrior-goddess Iomedae until he was captured and tortured by the demon lord Baphomet during the Fifth Mendevian Crusade. After the end of the war, Iomedae replaced him with the mortal Crusader Queen Galfrey of Mendev.123

History

Before Aroden's disappearance, he was known as the Hand of Vengeance and a servant of the Empyreal Lord of vengeance Ragathiel, but became a valorous and civil servant of Iomedae, whom he referred to as "the Just Queen of Heaven".1

He referred to his halo of swords as an independent creature named "Brightsword", and used it as a spiked shield or could summon from it a longsword.1
