King Rolf Erickson of Jol led an Ulfen raiding fleet to Aroden's Arch, where he attacked colonies of Taldor and captured hostages that he took back to the Lands of the Linnorm Kings. The Taldan Grand Prince signed a peace treaty with King Erickson after paying the Ulfen king's ransom demand of 100,000 gold pieces for the Taldan hostages.1
