New Queen Needed?

I know we usually put new additions to the talk pages on the bottom, but I want this to get attention, so I'm putting it up here.

It has come to my attention that we might want to talk about changing the current queen of Irrisen. Canon sttes that Baba Yaga comes once a century to install a new queen, and that she last came in 4613 AR. That means that she was supposed to come two years ago, which is of course when the Reign of Winter AP takes place and deals with this issue. According to The Inner Sea World Guide she has not come yet, but we are now two years on. Should we replace her, and if so, with whom? Has Irrisen been mentioned since in canon since the publication of Irrisen, Land of Eternal Winter in something that is not tied to the AP? --Brandingopportunity (talk) 17:24, 13 August 2015 (UTC)

Replying at User talk:Brandingopportunity as the most likely answers are all spoiler-y. The short version is that I haven't seen direct references to the new queen of Irrisen in campaign setting books since Reign of Winter. -Oznogon (talk) 17:52, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
Tom Rex saw his shadow, so six more months/years/decades of Elvanna. James Jacobs on the messageboards on Thursday: "Elvanna is the current witch queen until your group plays out Reign of Winter. If you decide to set an adventure after 4713 AR, and haven't decided the results of Reign of Winter by either playing it out, you the GM get to decide what's going on there."
thanks for chasing this down both. --Fleanetha (talk) 17:35, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

Spelling

The picture on page 81 of the campaign setting has her as Queen Elvannia, not Elvanna. However the text has her as Elvanna throughout so that would appear to be the correct spelling. I think that picture has a very good "Ice Witch" theme to it; are we allowed to include it in the wiki or would that be breach of copyright? Amethal2 01:44, February 2, 2010 (UTC)

This discrepancy was brought up on the Paizo boards in this thread but it doesn't appear to have been responded to specifically by James Jacobs as some other concerns were. I will create a redirect from Elvannia to Elvanna to stave off any confusion down the road. If an official errata is ever made, we can readdress the issue then.
As for the art, only art which has been released on Paizo's blog or in the Community Use Package may be reproduced on the wiki or any other project operating under the CUP. Unless Paizo releases this picture in either location, including it here would be a violation of Paizo's copyright of that image.—yoda8myhead 06:18, February 2, 2010 (UTC)

Class Levels Conflict - Now resolved

This is the text from a conflict page that was associated with this page but is now resolved:

Class levels

Inner Sea Magic has Elvanna as a Witch 20+; this is not too inconsistent from what is currently shown on her page: Witch 10 / Winter witch 10, though she has more levels in either or both these classes, potentially. The source for 10/10 should be noted on the page as the infobox has ISM at the bottom and the text is in disagreement with that source. --Fleanetha (talk) 13:27, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

Elvanna is fully statted on page 58 of The Witch Queen's Revenge as a witch (winter witch) 10/winter witch 10. As this is the most thorough description of her to date (and possible, for that matter), this should be considered the superior source in the canon hierarchy.—Paizo Publishing, LLC.png Yoda8myhead (talk) 18:41, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
Indeed. I have removed the conflict symbol and moved this discussion to the general 'Discussion' page as The Witch Queen's Revenge resolves the question completely. --Fleanetha (talk) 00:11, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
