Geographical maps

Nice work on the regional map. I've been meaning to do something like this for some time. We will be restricted to altering only maps which have been made public on the Paizo Blog, which might limit our ability to implement it across the board, but where we can, I like it. Should we standardize this to always being in the infobox? If so, how should we handle other elements which might appear there, such as landscape art or flags/coats of arms? -- Yoda8myhead 00:54, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Definitely well done, and a bonus to any article we can include such maps in; we can include them as an optional parameter in the template, so they aren't even mentioned in articles that don't have such an image.
I'm personally in favor of adding regional maps at the bottom of the info box, allowing for an image of the location at the top of the template whenever possible. Other images having to do with a given location don't need to be included in the info box at all, and can instead be used to liven up the body of the article. -- Heaven's Agent 05:12, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
It only took me a couple of seconds on photoshop, but the primary reasom I added it was because there are no pictures of Janderhoff. However I agree that having a map segment for every area both with and without a picture is a good idea, I can do up the rest of Varisia tonight, if someone could add the map paramter to the city template. --Vagrant-Poet 10:56, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Likewise, regional maps of nations can be taken from the world map with the nation shaded in. I will add a conditional spot for these in the city and nation templates. -- Yoda8myhead 14:10, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
