The term true dragon refers to a broad classification of the most powerful dragons, including chromatic, imperial, metallic, outer, and primal dragons.1 They all share certain traits: a steady growth in power and intelligence over time, innate magic, apex physical strength and agility, and efficient physiology. All true dragons also have four legs, two wings, and a tail.2
