From PathfinderWiki

Hi Filby! Nice work. I enjoy the cooperation. Please feel free to correct my texts. My English are not good enough but I like the Pathfinder world and I want to help.

No problem! :) I figured English wasn't your first language, but you still use it very well (better than a lot of native speakers in fact). We're all here because we love Pathfinder, and I'm glad to be of help.--Filby 21:59, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

Columns in articles

Hi Filby

I just noticed what you have done in the Molthune article where you have made text fall into 3 columns - very clever and neat. I don't know how to do this but would like to know please. I've looked at the code but do not understand some of what you have done - is it a table format at root, as Yoda8myhead suggested to me? What you have done looks easier to edit, though, than a table.

I made a page a while back, Gazetteer of Ustalav, which looks ridiculous in a long list and would like to move it to two or probably more columns to make it easier to use. --Fleanetha 22:2, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

Hi :) To be honest, I just copy-pasted the formatting from the Andoran page. I'm not entirely sure how it works, myself. However, it shouldn't be too hard for me to apply to the gazetteer article.--Filby 22:42, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Right... I had to remove the nation template, and the table of contents is stuck in one of the columns, but... well, see for yourself.--Filby 23:03, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Thank you - I tinkered a bit and got it to 4 columns and lost the TOC. Loathe to lose the Ustalavic crest so reinstated that too. It looks much better, though am not really sure how the code works. Thanks for your help --Fleanetha 17:31, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

Deletion

Evening User:Filby. Enjoying all your updates and especially impressed with your accuracy and attention to detail. I noticed your requests for deletion earlier and have acted upon them. We have a deletion template, which you may employ in future, as adding a comment to an edit may get missed as the change rolls off the 'Recent Changes' page. The template places a page into a special category where it can be mopped up later, without the request being missed. The template is added to a page by typing:

{{deletion|'your reason for wanting the page deleted' 'your signature'}}

Ahh, OK, thanks. The ins and outs of wiki management are still a jungle to me; thank you for your patience.--Filby 22:53, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Artwork

Thanks for finding all the artwork on other sites, Filby: it makes a big improvement to the wiki. --Fleanetha (talk) 07:11, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

My pleasure :) All I did was search "Paizo" on DeviantART on a boring evening. Glad to help out.--Filby (talk) 07:24, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

3 Eldest

Filby, could you revert your 3 last edits please (the moves of the Eldest with 'The'). We are actually in the process of adding back the 'The's to the Absalom districts. If 'The' is in the title in Paizo books then we keep it in the title. Can you redo the redirects too that were pasted over please? Cheers --Fleanetha (talk) 14:26, 24 December 2012 (UTC)

Okay. Sorry.--Filby (talk) 14:38, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
Thank you, no problem, and my apologies for wasting your time. Have a look here for the discussion: User talk:Brandingopportunity if you're interested and missed it; but it's all still very recent and as yet unfinished. --Fleanetha (talk) 16:18, 24 December 2012 (UTC)

Cthulhu's Home

Filby, where did you find a reference that Cthulhu's home is on Earth? --Brandingopportunity (talk) 19:01, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

Here on the Paizo boards, according to James Jacobs and F. Wesley Schneider, though I don't know if it's been confirmed in any published texts.--Filby (talk) 02:47, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

RE Shax: Why left-justify if it's inside a template?

Weird! I must have had finger trouble, User:Filby - it makes no sense, so thanks for spotting and re-correcting. I didn't actively do that and remember thinking it needed removing but saw you had done it already. So, I can't see how I'd have added that back in unless I edited an older version when I made my additions. Never mind - it's sorted now. Thanks --Fleanetha (talk) 07:40, 1 October 2013 (UTC)

No prob :)--Filby (talk) 10:44, 1 October 2013 (UTC)

Demon Lord CRs

I have (eventually) replaced the CRs back on the demon lords you removed yesterday, Filby. I don't tend to add a random number that pops into my head to a page (!). I checked in Lords of Chaos (a reference given on the demon lord's page) for one example of a 'speculative CR': it was a definitive CR for that demon lord in canon and for many of the others too. I haven't checked all of them, but prior to any deletion, it's best to check first. Even more minor, I don't understand why a picture of Mobogo is worthy of deletion from a section about mobogo? This is a minor area of a huge amount of work you've done recently on the demon lords, which is all great so please take this criticism in the spirit of huge appreciation for what you are doing - I particularly like the wikipedia links - good stuff. I just felt I needed to explain my rollbacks. --Fleanetha (talk) 10:47, 5 November 2013 (UTC)

Humans on other worlds

Awesome idea adding humans from other worlds to the Human article. I took the liberty of expanding it, but thanks for thinking of it! --Oznogon (talk) 02:33, 27 February 2015 (UTC)

Thanks! I meant to do it ages ago, as soon as Distant Worlds came out, but only just now got to it.--Filby (talk) 03:12, 28 February 2015 (UTC)

Maligaster's Alignment

While I'm favor of Pathfinder Society pre-gens being non-evil, his entire backstory reads like a NE character. He and Seytiel(sp) are two of my favorite non-good characters. I really think keeping him NE works in the context of the greater place of Golarion.—This unsigned post was made by Nightfall. Please sign all posts with ~~~~.

Yep. His official alignment is NE. I believe there's something to that effect explained on his pregen, but I could be misremembering a discussion I overheard in the office. I've made the change to his article in any case.—Paizo Publishing, LLC.png Yoda8myhead (talk) 07:04, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
OK, thanks guys.--Filby (talk) 16:30, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
No problem Filby. I just thought if we're changing alignments it should be reflective of the character as well as the writing. --
