A venture-captain of the Pathfinder Society, Vrenn explored Varisia before the Chelish founded the cities of Korvosa and Magnimar (i.e., before 4400 AR).12 His travels among the native Shoanti and Varisians are catalogued in a book, perhaps even one of the Pathfinder Chronicles, and focuses on the various dishes served by them.2
