Made from six tons of wicker and wood, a wickerman is a towering construct with a cage for a chest, and is often used for sacrifices to deities or to terrify enemies.1

Appearance

A wickerman is a colossal, humanoid-like statue that is perpetually aflame with magical fire. Its hollow chest can fit a human-sized creature.1

Abilities

The fires that engulf a wickerman never consume its wooden body, and water can only temporarily suppress them until it is destroyed. The construct can snatch up living creatures and shove them into its fiery chest cage.1

Ecology

A wickerman can be built from 12,000 pounds of wood and wicker, but cannot be activated until a living humanoid creature is sacrificed within its chest.1

On Golarion

A wickerman crafted in honor of Urgathoa sometimes patrols the frost giant village of Skirgaard in the Mindspin Mountains. It consumed slaves offered as sacrifice, and dishonorable giants were placed inside it as punishment.23

In the Great Beyond

Wickermen might be encountered in the Plane of Fire.4
