It appears that the sample wereshark in ''[[Isles of the Shackles]]'' has the human subtype because the base creature was a human barbarian, not because of any connection between the wereshark template and the human subtype (all other lycanthrope templates only add the shapechanger subtype, not any racial subtype, and can be applied to all humanoids, not just humans, and there's nothing that indicates that weresharks are different in this regard). Human subtype

It appears that the sample wereshark in Isles of the Shackles has the human subtype because the base creature was a human barbarian, not because of any connection between the wereshark template and the human subtype (all other lycanthrope templates only add the shapechanger subtype, not any racial subtype, and can be applied to all humanoids, not just humans, and there's nothing that indicates that weresharks are different in this regard).
