The tathlum is an artifact weapon of mass destruction, created by the Kellids from a severed head to be used against the deceased's friends and family.[1]

The head used in a tathlum's creation must be kept fresh for the duration of its creation. In order to empower a tathlum, three components are needed: sacred waters that have just been defiled, 100 drops of blood harvested from 100 corpses of innocents who knew or lived near each other, and the ashes of papers on which rare history was once written.[2]
