Usage

Use this template to provide a grid of the nine alignments, and indicate which of these are applicable for a defined purpose. For example, the grid may be used to show which alignment(s) a cleric of a specific deity may posses.

This template is taken, with permission, from the Alignment Grid Template located at the Forgotten Realms Wiki.

{{Alignment grid
| on  | on  | on
| off | off | off
| on  | off | off
}}

This will produce:

Simply place the word "on" in any location that you wish to be highlighted.

To highlight a single alignment square, use the subtemplate named for that alignment's abbreviation. For example, {{Alignment grid/CN}} highlights the Chaotic Neutral alignment:

To highlight any alignment as an option, which is often necessary for classes or races, use {{Alignment grid/Any}}.

Most alignment grids should be used in infoboxes without additional styles. In other situations where styling the grid may be necessary, however, you can apply CSS using the style parameter. For example, the following grid will float to the right of text:

{{Alignment grid | style=float: right;
| on  | on  | on
| off | off | off
| on  | off | off
}}
