Template talk:Cite book/Pathfinder 19, Howl of the Carrion King

Redundancy

This page already exists in the form of the Cite article template. Was there a particular reason that it was duplicated to serve a function I haven't considered? Also, thanks for the recent edits! Welcome to the team. -- yoda8myhead 03:35, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

I was going through and making up missing templates last night and saw this one and decided to whip it up. It was linked to by File:Pathfinder_19,_Howl_of_the_Carrion_King.jpg. In retrospect, I should have looked a little harder. However, the citation on the image page uses a page of "cover". Should we add "cover" to the article template? At any rate, yeah this template is likely redundant.--Aeakett 13:25, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
You can cite the cover of something in an article citation by using the same procedure as citing a page range. For example, in this case, it would be {{Cite article/Pathfinder 19, Howl of the Carrion King|1|cover}}. Let me know if you have questions. -- yoda8myhead 21:42, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
Fair enough... let's nuke this sucker.--Aeakett 01:06, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
