kept covered under canvas on the scaffold in the Plaza of Flowers in the center is a blazing furnace in the shape of a three-faced devil. Each of its jaws hold a tangle of iron implements (knives, spears, chains, rods, brands, etc) and the Tines of Cheliax (most conspicuous). Huge 2 pronged fork. In Egorian presided over by Paralictor Ivo Elliendo, and occasionally observed by representatives of the royal house of thrune. most spectacular executions and tortures usually reserved to last. Commences when the sun reaches its zenith. Entertainment by one of the Fools of Thrune for the stands of common folk who appreciate the extra time away from their labors, attending hawkers and peddlers as they wait for the spectacle. 4 heralds announce the lists of Judgements, while red-hooded shirtless men prepare the instruments. Guilty are held down on a table while instruments of Judgement are applied on them.

The Plaza of Flowers is a public square in the Chelish capital of Egorian where criminals are tortured and executed in front of large crowds on Judgement Day. Before the Thrune Ascendancy a century ago, the plaza was filled with blossoms which flowed down from overhanging windowsills, and contained a large fountain surrounded by flowerbeds. With the rise of the House of Thrune and the widespread worship of Asmodeus however, the plaza was transformed: banners of Asmodean black-and-red now loom down from the upper balconies, and the fountain has been replaced with a scaffold containing the Instruments of Judgement surrounded by eight viewing stands for spectators.
