Grand Opera House
The Grand Opera House of Egorian in Cheliax is a prominent opera house that predates the Thrune Ascendancy.1
Appearance
The Grand Opera, located in Egorian's Grid district,2 is the most prominent of the city's few structures to retain the classical pre-Thrune architecture of domes and pillars,1 despite the desires of House Thrune loyalists.3 It is among the buildings tall enough to be seen in the city's skyline beyond its walls.4
History
Inexpensive tours of the opera house are available to appropriately dressed visitors during the day, while for a larger fee any visitor can be guided by the house's night watch through its more scandalous history of murders and ghosts.3
The Grand Opera has been the site of the death of the thief Blue Gloaming5 and is haunted by a ghost known as the Angel of Egorian, believed by historians to be Beacien Persix.6
