Hessim, Newby, and Sage Paint Manufactory
Hessim, Newby, and Sage Paint Manufactory1 is an art supplies shop with a sagging store front that sits in the Old Korvosa district of Korvosa. The store, which was founded in 4600 AR,2 is filled with art supplies, canvases, easels, pots, and brushes. The paints from Hessim, Newby, and Sage Paint Manufactory vary from the cheapest, a one silver piece white paint, all the way up to a dazzling shade of violet—Newby Violet—that costs forty gold pieces a jar. Regardless of price, their paints are renowned as being the best in all Korvosa for colour, consistency, and permanence. The owners of the shop, Hessim, Newby, and Sage, are a trio of very old men who all wear glasses and are very ingratiating towards their customers.3
