Menthis Talp is the curator of the Archive of Eminent Tomes in the Katapeshi town of Solku. He leads an army of scholars and scribes in recording and interpreting the past of northern Garund. Talp funds the on-going research by allowing access to the tomes for a high fee, and by selling artifacts once they have been studied as well as copies of the writings, maps, and scrolls. He is deeply suspicious of both the Pathfinder Society and Aspis Consortium because both organizations would gladly steal the secrets he has discovered.
