Syrasis

Syrasis is a ruined city from the ancient Jistka Imperium located in northwestern Garund, north of the Hanging City of Teskra where the Winding Way flows out of the Napsune Mountains in what today is the nation of Rahadoum. Little is known of the city's history, save that it was the final home of the renowned artisan Akamale who crafted many mechanical masterpieces during the Age of Destiny.

Inhabitants

The only known current inhabitants of Syrasis are a band of nomadic jann who have recently settled there. They are led by Sheikh Benizere, who fell in love with the damaged, yet fully functional Celestial Pools of Syrasis. Some of her followers have begun to question their Sheikh's obsession with the pools after finding her staring at the strange stone idols found in its lower chambers.
