Sorting Inhabitants

I based Erebus's inhabitants category off of Avernus's when making it, but now I see that the layer pages are not uniform in design. Should the Inhabitants category be further broken down into groups, or should it not have sub-headers? —This unsigned post was made by IanA at 14 October 2022. Please sign all posts with ~~~~.

To me, what you've done for inhabitants on Erebus and Avernus looks good, IanA. The other layers I checked have far less info currently included in their 'Inhabitants' section, so adding series of subheadings with little associated text would look off. Essentially, consistency is an excellent goal, but a screen of {{Sectstub}}s would not look good. Where we do have a guideline, made some years ago, is to remove raw lists of data (as in Places of Interest on Avernus' page) from the main text and to create navboxes to hold that information, as Wikipedia does. Your more detailed lists are, of course, fine to keep as-is. An example, in a planar setting, is at the bottom of this page: Plane of Earth and the navbox template is here: Template:Plane of Earth navbox. I think with the lists of poi and geographical features, and inhabitants, a navbox for each layer of Hell would now be a useful addition and help your work. They are relatively easy to make and cutting and pasting the Plane of Earth one would be a good start. Have a go if you like (I can tweak them / standardise them for you subsequently) or I can create them instead (eventually) if you'd prefer. Finally, we ignore the article when alphabetising. --Fleanetha (talk) 09:40, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
