A timeglass is a roughly one-foot long glass bulb held in a stand made of horacalcum. Inside the bulb is a blue mist extracted from flowers that grow in the Dimension of Time. The timeglass can be used as a crystal ball with true seeing, or to view either the past or future. Viewing the past either allows the user to recall knowledge or contact another being. The user does not control which effect will occur. The being so contacted believes they are receiving a vision or divine insight. When viewing the future, the user gets a brief glimpse of something that may happen, only keeping vague slivers of the memory.1
