Looking for something simple to write about? The Spell Index needs your help!

As some of you may know, the Monster index is one of the most popular pages on this site. I thought it might be equally useful to create a Spell index, listing all the spells unique to the Pathfinder Campaign Setting. I am almost finished creating separate tables for each of the spellcasting classes, but I need your help.

If you click on the links below (which are part of my "Sandbox", as I don't want the general public to access them in their current state), you'll notice that most of them are populated by red links; that doesn't look good. I would greatly appreciate any help turning these red links blue. All that is required is to use the {{Spell}} template, fill out the information in the infobox (name, level, class, school, sub-school, descriptor, and source) and then describe the effect of the spell from an in-world perspective. It's guaranteed to be a short article.

The tables can be organized by any of the fields, so if you have only a few of the books, simply alphabetize the tables by source, and you'll see all the ones contained therein.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Alex

There is an article on protean magic in KQ 10 as well. Do you think we should include these spells? —Brandingopportunity (talk) Thu, 23 Sep 2010 20:39:47 +0000
I agree. Now all we have to do is create a proper citation template for KQ10 and KQ14. I guess we could do them the same way we handle articles in Pathfinder Adventure Path books, although I think that would mean creating citations for every single article in the magazine, right? Or is there a way of creating an article citation for just one article? —Brandingopportunity (talk) Thu, 23 Sep 2010 22:03:54 +0000
I just want to give another shout-out to this project. Creating articles about Pathfinder Campaign Setting spells is great when you don't have a lot of time, as there is generally very little information to summarize in the article. Take a look at some of the already-existing spells to see how easily it can be done! I've done quite a few now, and each complete article takes me under five minutes! —Brandingopportunity (talk) Fri, 01 Oct 2010 16:42:12 +0000
I don't remember what the name was(and won't have access to it until monday), but I believe the KQ with information from Prince of Wolves has a new cleric spell for clerics of Desna.... I didn't see anything from KQ in the cleric list, so figured I'd bring it up (since KQ is a tier 4 source) —Cpt kirstov (talk) Thu, 23 Sep 2010 20:19:55 +0000
in the Canon Policy we do list :

"Tier 4 All licensed Pathfinder Chronicles campaign setting material in non-Paizo sources " So I think it would be a valid source per these guidelines... but any conflicting sources would overwrite it —Cpt kirstov (talk) Thu, 23 Sep 2010 21:39:04 +0000

We can use the Cite article format and list the article name and author for page ranges not considered canon as THIS IS NOT A CANON SOURCE or something like that to grab people's attention to the fact that they're citing something they shouldn't be. —Yoda8myhead (talk) Fri, 24 Sep 2010 01:17:18 +0000
