User:Yoda8myhead/User blog/PathfinderWiki hits milestone 2000 articles

From PathfinderWiki

In the last few months, we've seen a flurry of activity, with additions made to the project as part of the CSII and by dedicated chroniclers working on their own. Every day the article counter climbed a little bit higher, and in the last week, I knew we were going to top two thousand articles very soon. That threshold was crossed this afternoon by none other than our newest obsessive, Goblin Witchlord, who created Merchants' Quarter as he went through all the city districts of Absalom. I know he didn't add the article just to push us over the edge, but thanks GW! And congratulations to all chroniclers for doing your parts in getting to this point. No one person is responsible for the great resource we have going here.

I went back to try to figure out when we hit the first thousand articles and remembered that we had an end of the year push last December to get to that point. So between March 2008 and the first of 2009 we added a thousand articles to the main space, and have done the same in the first nine months of 2009. So it seems our pace is pretty much the same. It will be interesting to see how things progress from here. When do you think we'll reach three thousand articles?

Yes, three cheers for GW! I thinks it's also important to note that during the [[Talk:Portal:Character_Options|March of the Automata/Crunch Purge]] we actually deleted a hundred or so articles. In a way, that makes us about a month ahead of the pace. Whoo-hoo! —Aeakett (talk) Mon, 14 Sep 2009 18:39:33 +0000
Even more impressive, it seems, is that after less than two months, we are already over 2300 articles! —Brandingopportunity (talk) Thu, 05 Nov 2009 19:47:11 +0000
I might be even less active for a time.... the external harddrive I've been storing my PDFs on is acting up.... hoping cleaning the dust and stuff out of it will make it better... but right now I can't search at all :( —Cpt kirstov (talk) Mon, 14 Sep 2009 21:59:26 +0000
