Battle of the Burning Child

From PathfinderWiki

The Battle of the Burning Child was fought in 4237 AR1 on the eastern plains of the Hold of Belkzen between militia from Lastwall and advancing orc hordes. Here the demoralized and routed forces of Lastwall made a stand when they spotted a screaming human peasant child shrouded in flames in the middle of the orc ranks. The orcs were just as confused by its appearance, but the sight of the child caused the Lastwall soldiers to hold their ground and temporarily drive back the nonhuman invaders. When it was over, the battlefield was searched, but no remains of the child could be found. To this day, travelers who venture nearby on moonless nights claim that they can hear a child crying.2
