Lillend
Lillend.
(Creature)

Devoted to beauty and the arts, lillends (pronounced LIHL-ehnd),1 also known as muse azatas,2 are azatas of the plane of Elysium.3 They are sometimes associated with the goddess Shelyn.4

Appearance

A lillend's torso resembles that of a winged humanoid, while the rest of their body resembles a serpent's.2

Society

Lillends enjoy inspiring the creative works of mortals, and sometimes secretly follow and record the deeds of mortal adventurers in order to retell them as epic poems and songs in Elysium. However, should the subject of their tales face death, the lillend following them often intercedes, even if it means the end of their chronicles.2
