Remaster removal of fiend status

Per a Paizo Live stream about Monster Core (presumably this one; can't watch so can't confirm), oni and rakshasas will no longer be classified as fiends in the Pathfinder Remaster changes. -Oznogon (talk) 01:51, 17 January 2024 (UTC)

• Oni are now just GIANT and HUMANOID. They didn't even gain Unholy trait. no Particular Smite evil weakness but scared of having beans thrown at them.-Stejo (talk) 20:47, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
  • Screatch they also gained a weakness to spirit damage that is amplified when they are scared of beans :). Both Holy and Unholy clerics of God can quickly smite them down.-Stejo (talk) 21:03, 9 May 2024 (UTC)

2e Remaster Monster Core Name changes

Oni naming scheme has changed from being a type of giant + Yai, to be Geographic location + Oni. Also got mention of Sea Oni Tian Xia World Guide p63 & 67 not sure if another name for Water yai/Island oni sneak peak for a future book? -Stejo (talk) 20:58, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
