Ammunition

From PathfinderWiki
An archer wields a loaded bow with a quiver of arrows on their back as ammunition.

Ammunition is material fired, scattered, dropped, or detonated from weapons1 such as firearms, bows, crossbows, slings,2 cannons, and many types of siege weapons.3

Each weapon requires ammunition that is often designed for use with them. For example, many firearms use bullets, many bows use arrows, and many crossbows fire bolts; none of these types of ammunition are typically compatible with each others' weapons.2

Certain alchemical and magical items,2 as well as technological items such as beam weapons,4 also require ammunition, and ammunition itself can be magical in nature.5

Ammunition is often consumable in nature and difficult or impossible to reuse.2
