Queen Hyun Geon-ji is a member of the Nuri Family and the current queen of the Flower Kingdom of Hwanggot as of 4724 AR1, though some have concerns over her suitability when she was a princess. The previous queen, Hyun Eun-suk began the process of transferring power over to princess Hyun Geon-ji in 4711 AR, but many have raised concerns about the princess seeming not to adhere to traditional Tian-Hwan values. The Tian-Hwan value peace above all else, but Princess Hyun Geon-ji's approach with Hwanggot's most aggressive neighbour, the kingdom of Bachuan, has not followed this tradition of diplomacy. Instead, as princess, Hyun Geon-ji has begun erecting a series of massive stone fortifications along the southern banks of the Shuidao River, which marks the border with Bachuan.2 As queen, she continues to be trying to reignite tensions with Bachuan.1
