Nester Rees, sometimes spelled Nestor Rees and also known as Master Rees, is an appraiser and broker of antiquities, expert on Azlant, and former Pathfinder field agent.

Appearance

Rees is a dark-skinned Garundi man with braided black and gray hair. He sometimes walks with a false limp, believing that it improves his bargaining position.

Associates

Rees remains an associate of many active Pathfinder field agents, particularly Venture-Captain Eras the Needle for whom Rees recruits Pathfinders who show an interest in Azlanti artifacts.

Background

After joining the Pathfinder Society as a field agent Rees found that the required travel was incompatible with his weak constitution, particularly a heart condition that he claimed weakened the right side of his body. He moved into research, and for the last three decades he has continued to work with the Society as an appraiser of ancient relics and expert on ancient Azlant.

Rees knows the Azlanti, Dwarven, Elven, Fey, Mwangi, Osiriani, and Taldane languages.
