Redomeus is a cornugon and a terrifying champion of the infernal legions of Hell. His body is covered in terrible burns from an ancient battle against a black dragon. During the fight, he was swallowed whole by the creature but managed a gruesome escape—before the dragon's acid could kill him—which resulted in the dragon's death. Redomeus wields a spiked chain called Blackfire that is made from a kyton's chains and is stronger than those used by most cornugons. Summoners who offer him an even greater weapon or to enchant Blackfire are more likely to gain the cornugon's service.
