Purpose and name of category
Since User:Rexert's dusted off this category recently, it probably needs revisiting since it hadn't previously been touched in 13 years.
The term "monster" is subjective and also not descriptive of its contents, which include the parent or grandparent image categories of most (all?) ancestries. Its naming convention also no longer aligns with that of other image categories.
It should likely become Category:Images of creatures to align with the wiki's naming conventions, and with the term "creature" as used in both canon and this wiki's existing categorization. It should also likely function as a container category for image categories, in a manner similar to how Category:Creatures contains article categories. -Oznogon (talk) 22:43, 19 March 2025 (UTC)
