This artwork has been superseded by a different depiction from Tian Xia World Guide.

Per Tan Shao Han,¹ author of the Tian Xia World Guide chapter on Songbai, the name and banner of Shokuro were intentionally changed to more carefully depict the fictional nation's sensitive real-world political and cultural parallels to Japanese occupation of territories predominantly composed of ethnically Chinese people, the subtexts of which can be harmfully offensive to people affected by this real-world situation.

While the changes are rationalized in-universe in the Tian Xia World Guide timeline on pages 9–10 as occurring in 7217 IC, please avoid using this image in mainspace articles in alignment with Paizo's and the author's stated intent to reduce real-world harm.
