A menace that haunts the deserts of central Katapesh, Agakiv is a fierce shira who has claimed the territory between three great oases as her hunting ground. She has a particularly unique taste in quarry, for when she picks up the trails of the trade caravans that cross the desert, she stalks them in the dead of night, murders the caravans' leaders, and arranges their remains into gory artwork for their followers to find. The powerful div only preys upon leaders, viewing their followers as chattel unworthy of her murderous talents.1
