Lady Arodeth, a citizen of Absalom, plays the role of the inheritor of a band of mercenaries called the Band of Blades. In reality Lady Arodeth acted as a front for the Harbingers of Fate. She is a cunning politician and strategist who was determined to see one of the prophecies of the Book of 1,000 Whispers fulfilled.
