Siege towers are massive siege engines designed to help attackers bypass the walls of a fortification by being wheeled against them in a mobile structure as tall as or taller than the walls. A siege tower typically has five tiers that grant cover to its passengers, and includes a lowerable corvus that can bridge the gap from the tower to the structure being breached. A crew must push the wheeled tower, which has a single pilot, into place.

Variants

A battery tower is a siege tower with cannons, bombards, or other siege weapons installed to grant it offensive capabilities. A helepolis is a heavily armed siege tower propelled by pushing a capstan.
