Bloodrot

Bloodrot is a massive necropolis that serves as Urgathoa's divine realm.12

Geography

Bloodrot is located on the shores of the Sea of Lamentation within Abaddon. The entire necropolis is situated around a curved tower that resembles a vampiric fang.3

History

Urgathoa bargained with the Apocalypse Riders for possession of the area now known as Bloodrot.2

Bloodrot is filled with undead beings that have escaped the natural cycle of souls, and as such have retained their memories—an unusual trait for residents of the Outer Planes—and continue to engage in their mortal excesses. Outsiders are uncommon in Bloodrot.32

Urgathoa often sends Bloodrot's residents back to the Universe to carry out her requests and terrorize its inhabitants.32

Zyphus, the Grim Harvestman, also dwells within Bloodrot.45
