Catnip, also called catswort and catmint, is a flowering mint plant that also acts as an intoxicating, addictive drug to feline creatures.1

Effects

Catnip stimulates felines, enhances their pleasure, and improves their reflexes. Once its effects have worn off, the feline becomes sluggish for several hours and gains none of the drug's benefits until it recovers.

Felines of any size are affected by catnip, though larger cats such as lions and tigers require much larger doses than a smaller house cat. The drug has no effect on other creatures.1

On Golarion

Catnip is common in southern Avistan and the jungles of Garund.1
