The Chymists of Life in Death are a heretical sect of the Church of Pharasma dedicated to creating alchemical undead as a way of bypassing Pharasmin rules forbidding the creation of undead creatures. The sect was active in Kaer Maga during the era of the Thassilonian empire, and written works by this sect are banned by modern mainstream Pharasmin orders.
