Darial III
Darial III was Padishah Emperor of Kelesh until his death in 4080 AR.1
Background
In 4080 AR, one year into the Grand Campaign of Qadira against its northern neighbor Taldor, Emperor Darial attempted to end the invasion by raising taxes on the satrapy to punitive levels. Qadiran nobles threatened to secede from the empire in response, forcing the Padishah Emperor to relent. He died from a suspicious fall from a balcony the night after he instructed the Imperial Vizier in Katheer to communicate his change of mind.1
