A deathbalm talisman grants the wearer increased resistance to disease and poison. Someone afflicted with disease or poison already can sometimes shake off those effects if they put on the talisman. Once the talisman works successfully, it is dormant for 24 hours. It can also increase recovery from non-wound damage if worn for 24 consecutive hours.
