An extraction scarificator is a bloodletting device that can only be used on helpless or willing creatures. Its blades both deal damage and cause profuse bleeding. Once per day it can be used to extract one of the four humors, which has the effect of a magical potion for the next 24 hours.[1]
The magical effects of these humors are:[1]
- black bile
- potion of lesser restoration
- blood
- potion of cure moderate wounds
- phlegm
- potion of calm emotions
- yellow bile
- potion of rage
