The Fastness of the Ordered Mind is a cluster of linked monasteries located deep in the frozen Darkside of Verces. It is home to the Ascetics of Nar, an order of bizarre and brilliant scholar-monks who see the inherent law of the cosmos within the ice. In the most secure heart of the Fastness are whole neural networks, joining those monks who lost all of their limbs to frostbite when meditating in the cold waste.
