Gammata is said to be a twin to the strange beast known as Black Magga, but it haunts the distant Valashmai Sea, almost halfway across Golarion from its twin.12

Appearance

Like Black Magga, Gammata is said to be a much more powerful relative of the smaller creatures known as a Mother of Oblivion,2 measuring over sixty feet long with a body that splits into a vast nest of grasping tentacles.1

Abilities

Gammata's tentacles are said to be able to reach straight through a ship's hull to grasp and crush the sailors within.1

Habitat and ecology

Like Black Magga, Gammata is a much more powerful relative of the smaller creatures known as a Mother of Oblivion.2 Gammata is said to travel at the heart of a mysterious, eerie shadowy storm. The rain of this storm passes through solid objects, its winds are hauntingly silent, and many ships that sail into it are never seen again.1
