A jetpack is a pair of bulky, cylindrical tanks worn on the shoulders that allow the wearer to fly when activated. It is controlled by a pair of thumb rings capable of sensing motion that serve to wirelessly control thrust and attitude. The jetpack's exhaust obscures vision, but is not hot or concentrated enough to be harmful. A jetpack can be overdriven, increasing its speed and fuel consumption.1
