Keep of the Hound

The Keep of the Hound is the impressive stone castle of the Duke of Redtooth, ruler of the Irriseni province known as the Verge. The Verge is the only province that is ruled by a man, not a woman. By tradition, the second son of the reigning queen is appointed governor of the Verge. Queen Elvanna's second son, Duke Arvanoff Elvanna is currently the governor and military leader of the province. The Keep of the Hound is located in the center of the town, designed to withstand a long siege and surrounded by the army's storage silos and camps of the duke's elite units, known as the Queen's Storm.
