A mummified bat is a talisman in the form of a small magically treated and papyrus-bound bat corpse. When affixed to a weapon, the talisman's magic power can be unleashed to temporarily detect vibrations and improve the wearer's awareness of creatures hiding nearby. Users already skilled in detecting hidden creatures gain echolocation instead, similar to that of a bat.
