Nine Days of Blood

From PathfinderWiki

The Nine Days of Blood was a massacre that incited the Mbe'ke civil war known as the War of Split Hearts.

High King Nkobe was always paranoid and temperamental, but when his son, and only heir, died suddenly of a disease with an incredibly quick onset in 3841 AR, Nkobe became convinced that his son had been poisoned. His conviction that foul play had been involved increased Nkobe's paranoia tenfold, and he began plotting his revenge against his perceived enemies.

Over the course of nine days, High King Nkobe and his masked enforcers arrested thousands of dwarves and executed them on the bridges that crisscross Cloudspire, dyeing the waters of Wellspring red with dwarven blood.1
