Otembo the Toe-Eater

From PathfinderWiki

Otembo the Toe-Eater is a folklore character in a number of stories from the Mwangi Expanse. In one of these stories she eats the moon to stop some noisy jackals and ends up birthing the first goblins. This earned her the nickname Grandmother Goblin, and causes some confusion between her and the goddess Lamashtu.1

The stories tell that she is made of spider venom, mud, and spite. This combination leads to her playing the role of trickster or distraction in many of the tales she is involved in. The Mwangi people learn that cunning plans and perseverance can sometimes foil the attributes often seen as the best by society: strength and honor.1
