The psychic imprinter is a technological item resembling a closed helmet with an opaque visor whose size can be adjusted to fit different humanoids. In its recording mode, the psychic imprinter records a complete mental image of its wearer into it, overwriting any older recording in the process. In its imprinting mode, it writes its stored mental image into the wearer's mind, destroying its existing personality in the process, unless previously set to record the wearer's current mental image as it is overwritten.[1]
