Pureblades are specialized slayers of aberrations in Numeria and the Mana Wastes, gifted with unique talents of detecting and killing creatures of alien origin or corruption while themselves resisting such beasts' mental manipulations. The first Pureblades developed their distinct skills in the alien-infested Numerian wastes; later Pureblades rose up to defend Nex and Alkenstar from the warped creatures in the Mana Wastes.
