Starfinder is a Paizo product line that uses modified Pathfinder Roleplaying Game rules, a science-fantasy theme, and a campaign setting set in the distant future of the Pathfinder campaign setting. It was released at Gen Con 2017 on August 17, 2017.

Starfinder First Edition is based on Pathfinder First Edition. Starfinder Second Edition is based on Pathfinder Second Edition. The Starfinder Second Edition Playtest launched at Gen Con 2024 on August 1, 2024. Starfinder Second Edition is set to release at Gen Con 2025 on July 31, 2025.

Like the Pathfinder Tales brand, the Starfinder brand extends into fiction . A Starfinder comic was also published within the five Pathfinder Spiral of Bones comic issues in 2018.
